Vitola – A factory term referring to the size and shape of cigars.Below is a list of standard vitola sizes and ring gauge. Most sizes have a variance in length and ring gauge.

With the exception of the torpedo, all straight-sided cigars are also known as parejos.
Torpedo, culebra, pyramid, belicoso, and perfecto are some of the names given to figurados, or shaped cigars.
